Sangio Rose
This single varietal wine was produced by the saignee method of winemaking. What does this mean? Instead of fermenting all of our Sangiovese grapes on the skins, like a traditional red wine, we decided to remove a small percentage of the grape juice and ferment it like a white wine. Finished bone dry, this rosé wine has notes of raspberry, smoked jackfruit, and vanilla.
WINEMAKERS NOTES
Notice the smoky aftertaste? That didn't come from a barrel, but rather from the 2018 California wildfires. Pair with cheese and white meats.
